![]() Read the full review on my blog here: Bookish Love Affair. I for one want to read the second one once it comes out :) That being said, I really do think that this is a great start to what is to become a series of books about Norse mythology. At times, I felt like the author was embracing too much and trying to include more than was necessary, and that decrease my enjoyment of this novel. However, the aforementioned great set of characters is what made things a bit confusing to me towards the middle, because each character comes with their own storyline, and the multiple storylines made for a great web of destinies that entertwined a lot. It was lovely to read about my own home country and recognize different settings and ways of living. I loved the beginning of the book which was very typical Danish. ![]() It mingles the ordinary world of a high school student with a world of fantasy, Norse mythology and magical creatures, and it comes with a great cast of characters and storylines. "The Whisper of the Ravens" is a good, action-filled story which was surprising to me in many ways. This is the first installment in a Danish YA/NA series about Norse mythology. ![]()
